Alzheimer’s is an illness which is often gradual in it’s development. A person may lose their wallet or keys often, forget cooking on the stove, and become lost in unfamiliar neighborhoods. Eventually the person may forget their birthday and even family members.

Anger management problems will impact all parts of life (home, work, school, relationships). Remember, if someone can control their anger in certain situations, they can control their anger in other situations.

Depression occurs when someone feels sad, hopeless, discouraged, or “down in the dumps”. Children and adolescents may be more irritable than sad. Often people who are depressed report that they have difficulty thinking, making decisions, may feel worthless or guilty, have sleep and eating problems, feel unmotivated, and don’t want to do their normal daily activities. In severe cases, a person may think about suicide, plan how to commit suicide, or even attempt it.
